The IDB Cultural Center presented this exhibition as a tribute to Chile on the occasion of the 42nd Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the IDB held in Santiago, Chile, in March 2001. The selection included 13 tapestries and 15 oil paintings from the Violeta Parra Foundation created by the Chilean folksinger.
