In 2023, the MICI focused on advancing its vision of working with all to make development better, while recording a record in new complaints received and cases handled through its dispute resolution process and independent investigations. This report summarizes the management of the 39 complaints from 13 countries and the activities of the Mechanism, which aims to strengthen the environmental and social sustainability of the projects of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), IDB Invest and IDB Lab.
