This report presents and analyzes management actions and pedagogical practices adopted by the municipal education systems of Coruripe (Alagoas) and Manaus (Amazonas). Between 2019 and 2023, both recorded a positive variation in the Basic Education Development Index (Ideb), one of the main indicators of the quality of Brazilian education. Understanding the strategies that proved effective in promoting learning and overcoming certain educational challenges in these municipalities may serve as inspiration for the development of management and pedagogical practices in other education systems.
