Governments use public policies to intervene in the agricultural sector of their countries. The AGRIMONITOR initiative carries out different Agricultural Policy Indicators for the analysis of the agricultural sector at the regional level. This infographic illustrates the level of support provided to agricultural producers. The indicator used is the Producer Support Estimate (PSE), which is expressed as a percentage of agricultural income. This indicator reflects the proportion of this income that is determined by agricultural policies.
