dc.description.abstractThe IDB has been supporting Sports-for-Development (SFD) initiatives in Latin America and the Caribbean since 2004. This document reviews IDB-sponsored initiatives in 18 countries to shed light on what works and doesn’t work. Given the importance of designing programs right to avoid unintended consequences, increasing data collection and analysis is crucial. This monograph is a contribution to that effort.
