| dc.description.abstract | The objective of the evaluation will be to assess how well and to what extent the Bank’s activities to date have promoted gender equality, women’s empowerment, and development with identity. The evaluation will focus on three key aspects: (i) the relevance of the Bank’s approach to promoting gender equality, women’s empowerment, and development with identity; (ii) the effectiveness to date of operations that seek to support gender equality, women’s empowerment, and development with identity; and (iii) the institutional factors that influence direct investment and mainstreaming in Bank activities. Findings will seek to identify factors that affect the success of various types of operations in different contexts, and to provide recommendations on how the Bank can enhance its support for gender and diversity. |
