| dc.description.abstract | The Boards of Governors of the IDB Group decided in March 2015 to support the proposal for the "merge-out" of the IDB's and IIC's private sector operations into a "new" IIC. The merge-out took effect on January 1st, 2016. Operational and administrative functions associated with IDB's private sector activities were transferred from IDB to IIC, and significant changes were made in the staffing of the new organization. Though implementation of various aspects of the merge-out is still underway as part of the 10-year framework of the Renewed Vision, the Boards of Directors of IDB and IIC asked OVE to evaluate the implementation of the private sector merge-out to date as part of OVE's 2017-2018 work program. |
