This report sets out to present some of the highlights from a more in depth study carried out on social entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems in Peru, presenting the case study of X-runner. X-runner provides a hygienic domestic sanitation service combining a portable dry toilet, weekly pick-up system and composting system. For a small monthly fee, x-runner creates a cleaner, healthier environment for low-income families in urban communities in Lima.
