The objective of this study is to analyze the tools implemented by Latin American and Caribbean countries to promote the cultural and creative economy, as well as governments willingness to finance public programs in the cultural space, first of all, and in the creative economy thereafter. The study framework includes countries in both Latin America (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela) and the Caribbean (Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, and Trinidad and Tobago).
