Amazon Bioeconomy and Forests Management Multi-Donor Trust Fund (AMDTF)

The Amazon Bioeconomy and Forests Management Multi-Donor Trust Fund (AMDTF) primary purpose is to assist Amazon countries in reducing pressure on forest ecosystems by improving environmental governance and fostering sustainable economic alternatives. The fund was created in 2021 as one of the primary sources of donor funding for the IDBs Amazon Initiative and will support the goal of the recently announced Amazonia Forever Program.
