dc.description.abstractSecond and final segment of the exhibit organized around the book "Art of Latin America 1981-2000," published in 2002 by the IDB Cultural Center. Written by historian Germán Rubiano Caballero, the book gives an overview of the art in Latin America during the last two decades of the XX century. The exhibition featured the works by some of the leading Latin American artists during the period 1981-2000; and it is the second segment of the exhibition initially staged by the IDB Cultural Center in 2002. The artists included are: José Bedia, Rimer Cardillo, Roberto Elía, Luis González Palma, Guillermo Kuitca, Lorenzo Jaramillo, Alexis ¿KCHO¿ Leyva Machado, Matilde Marín, Eduardo Medici, Vik Muñiz, Raúl Recio, Miguel Rio Branco, Arnaldo Roche Rabell, Miguel Ángel Rojas, Daniel Senise, José A. Suárez, Yves Telemak and Ricardo Wiesse. This show was organized by the IDB Cultural Center in collaboration with Colombia¿s Central Bank.
