dc.description.abstract46 sculptures by male and female indigenous artists executed over the last 15 years, depicting Inuit people, animals and legends, among other themes, made this show the most extensive and complete exhibition of Canadian Inuit sculpture of the last 15 years presented in Washington. All works come from private collections in the United States and Canada. Dr. John Burdick acted as Associate Curator for this exhibition which was hailed by The Washington Post as, sculpture that captures a culture.
