dc.description.abstract | At the heart of quantum computing is the quantum bit or qubit, a quantum analog of the classical bit, which can exist in multiple states simultaneously due to a phenomenon known as superposition. This unique ability enables quantum computers to perform parallel computations, significantly enhancing their processing power for certain types of problems. Quantum computing has the potential to drive breakthroughs across various industries, from drug discovery and material science to cryptography and financial modeling. |
