For a decade, the Inter-American Development Bank has worked with local and national governments in Latin America and the Caribbean to further knowledge on individual and collective decision-making. The interventions described in this document span more than 14 countries in the region, and they are tangible examples of the IDBs work in six distinct areas. These areas include tax compliance, gender equality, public administration, health, and the promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises. Moreover, the document includes the lessons obtained from interventions that were implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic to support governments in the region in curbing the spread of the virus. The projects are presented through a series of summaries that take the reader through each interventions problem, context, and design, along with the supporting behavioral analysis, the evaluation process, the challenges encountered, and the lessons learned.
