Due to the global pandemic caused by the expansion of COVID-19 and with the intention of minimizing the number of infections (“flatten the curve”), many countries have opted for generalized quarantines that restrict the movement of goods and people. This study seeks to know the situation of the agricultural sector in the region in the context of COVID-19, from the perspective of agricultural producers. In this way we can understand how the global pandemic has affected them and what their expectations are for the future.
