| dc.description.abstract | The object of this study (RE-317-2) is to evaluate the Bank¿s role in the fiscal sector of its borrowing member countries from 1990 to 2004, in order to extract learnings that can enhance the outcomes of the Bank¿s work in future, framed within its new business model (New Lending Framework-NLF). The central methodological focus was an assessment of the relevance of Bank actions in helping countries in the region tackle fiscal problems and the effectiveness of the products the Bank employed to that end. |
