dc.description.abstractThis is the fourth case study of the "Hydro-BID Applications" series and it shows the development of a hydrological model for Bermejo Region II using Hydro-BID, and the implementation of the sediment load module recently developed within the Hydro-BID system. The study provides a detailed analysis of the hydrological and sediment load modeling at higher resolution in the Bermejo Region. Sediment load computations were performed using two methods, the Modified Universal Soil Loss Equation (MUSLE) and the Gavrilovic and Zemljic method. Finally, the study provided a sensitivity of sediment loads to future climate changes.
