dc.description.abstractThis publication is the result of the technical and financial collaboration of the Instituto para el Desarrollo Social Argentina under leadership of the Inter-American Development Bank and the United Nations Children's Fund. Its objective is to analyze the legal, administrative, and technological requirements for the use of information and communications technology (ICT) for birth registration. The intended audience includes civil registry agencies or those countries that are considering the introduction ICT, as well as those that already have a system in place.
