| dc.description.abstract | This report is intended to encourage and reinforce the efforts of policymakers and industry stakeholders throughout the region to accelerate broadband deployment. The report has two primary aims. The first is to help identify public policy and regulatory issues that need to be addressed in order to eliminate the digital divide within and between LAC countries, and between the region and the world's leading broadband nations. The second is to highlight the range of options that policymakers have in achieving that goal by offering examples of specific solutions implemented in the region and elsewhere that have proved successful in accelerating broadband deployment and adoption. |
