dc.description.abstractThis presentation discusses Singapore's economic performance and industrial strategy of the past and the future. Their changing industrial strategy and structure includes the promotion of restructuring away from labor intensive and technologically simple towards technology intensive knowledge-based industries, as well as the creation of industry and services clusters. This presentation was presented at the Latin America/Caribbean and Asia/Pacific Economics and Business Association (LAEBA)'s 2nd Annual Meeting held in Buenos Aires, Argentina on November 28th-29th, 2005.
