In 2006, the Social Inclusion Trust Fund entered the first year of its second phase of operation. This preliminary program sought to expand research and awareness, build local and Bank capacity, increase operations that create opportunities for learning and building capacity, and broaden inter-institutional collaboration. This report is defined by the Fund's long-term goals and divided into 4 sections by its mid-term objectives: 1) Support to National Inclusion Processes - The Leader Country Concept; 2) Greater Incorporation of Social Inclusion in Bank Programming and Policies; 3) Expanded Dissemination, Outreach and Awareness Raising; 4) Administration and Expansion of Fund Resources.
