This third edition of Investing in Gender Equality presents IDB projects that exemplify good work in the integration of gender considerations in their design. The 18 projects included in this edition have been identified through a system that ranks projects according to how comprehensively gender issues have been incorporated in their design. These projects achieved the highest rankings of a total of 146 projects approved by the Board between 2002 and 2003.
