IDB Group Knowledge Annual Report 2025: Turning Knowledge into Impact

At the Inter-American Development Bank Group (IDB Group), knowledge is more than a mandate--it is the bedrock of our value proposition. Governments, the private sector, and civil society across Latin America and the Caribbean rely on our knowledge. We direct our research and analysis to shape public policies, develop practical solutions for practitioners, attract private investment, catalyze innovation, and build consensus within civil society. This first IDB Group Knowledge Report presents the Banks knowledge production over the past years and the strategic reforms we have enacted to strengthen our role as a “Knowledge Bank” for the region. It also underscores our growing effort to measure the influence of our knowledge, showcases how our analytical work enhances our operations, and shows its tangible impact on improving lives across Latin America and the Caribbean.
