This brochure provides an overview of international good practice standards in Social Impact Assessment (SIA). The note also describes SIA requirements of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), both in terms of steps to be taken during the project cycle, and specific policy requirements. It has been prepared by the IDB to provide guidance to practitioners and decision-makers.
