dc.description.abstract29 paintings and 1 sculpture by artists (including two women) from the early to late modern period of the 20th century, and 36 contemporary folk objects form this exhibition which juxtaposes the art of two different sectors of society the formally trained and the spontaneous, reflecting the circumstances and the social environments of each, but making all part of the national memory. The works come from the National Collection, the Julia Díaz Foundation-Museo Forma, and the INAR Foundation collection.
