Pathways to Sustainable Productive Development PY - 2025 Y1 - 2025/08/28 DO - 10.18235/0013671 AB - This study presents a productive development strategy for Amazonia's border regions, areas of strategic importance for Latin America and the Caribbean due to their environmental, cultural, and economic significance. The publication explores three tri-border regions in Amazonia: the Brazil-Colombia-Peru cluster, the Brazil-Bolivia-Peru cluster, and the Brazil-Guyana-Venezuela cluster. It identifies opportunities to unlock the productive potential of sectors such as agriculture, fishing, and tourism, while advancing ecosystem conservation and regional integration. Using an innovative methodology that combines fieldwork, quantitative analysis, and geospatial tools, this study outlines actions for sustainable, inclusive, and resilient development, bringing together public, private, and community-led initiatives in the remotest parts of Amazonia.
