AB  - This study analyzes the main risks, impacts, and mitigation measures for activities related to green hydrogen including production, transportation, storage and associated energy carriers, including ammonia and methanol.  This technical note also summarizes, analyzes, and compares international best practices on Environmental, Health, Safety and Social matters for hydrogen management.  Finally, the authors analyze these practices as they relate to the IDBs new Environmental and Social Policy Framework (ESPF) approved by the Bank in September 2020.
