AB  - The objective of the evaluation is to assess how well and to what extent the IDB’s activities to date have promoted gender equality, women’s empowerment, and development with identity. The evaluation focuses on three key aspects: (i) the relevance of the Bank’s approach (its policy framework and the implementation of that framework) to promoting gender equality, women’s empowerment, and development with identity; (ii) the extent of its activities to support gender and diversity; and (iii) the institutional factors that influence these activities. Findings seek to identify factors that affect the success of various types of operations in different contexts, and to provide recommendations on how the Bank can enhance its support for gender and diversity.
