AB  - It is uncommon to find in Washington, D. C. such a wide variety of works in a single collection from which 25 pieces were displayed that reveal the artistic talent and creativity of the people from the Americas. The works were chosen from the IDB Art Collection and represented Argentina, Bahamas, Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Peru, Suriname, United States, and Uruguay with twenty-three artists including Robert Rauschenberg (United States), Canadians Mayureak Ashoona and Kananginak Pootoogook, Rodolfo Abularach (Guatemala), Fernando de Szyszlo (Peru), Maxwell Taylor (Bahamas), and George Struikelblok (Suriname).
