abstract = {This document analyzes and organizes the main sources of information on return migration in Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador, in a context of sustained increases in returns from the United States and Mexico. Drawing on administrative data, international statistics, and surveys, it characterizes the returnee population, describes detention, deportation, and reception processes, and reviews institutional frameworks for reintegration. The report identifies progress in data collection, as well as significant gaps in the systematization and use of data to understand migrant return and reintegration in northern Central America.},
