abstract = {The review of project self-evaluations and performance ratings by the independent evaluation office is an integral aspect of the project evaluation system across Multilateral Development Banks. At the Inter-American Development Bank Group (IDBG) the Office of Evaluation and Oversight (OVE) has been validating IDB Invests (formerly IICs) project self-evaluations since 2001 and reporting results to the Board. The report summarizes the results and findings of OVEs review of Expanded Supervision Reports (XSR) for 43 Non-sovereign-guaranteed operations that reached early operating maturity in 2016 and of Project Completion Reports (PCR) for 35 Sovereign-guaranteed operations that closed in 2016.},
